Overview

At Cross Atlantic Partners, our mission is two-fold...to generate superior long-term capital appreciation for our investors while helping entrepreneurs build great companies.  Our team of seasoned professionals has over 60 years of combined experience building emerging healthcare and life science companies and is actively seeking new investments.

As of May 2009, CAP has achieved an aggregate 40% compound internal rate of return (IRR) and a 2.1X cash-on-cash return on completed investments over the past fifteen years.  We have a conservative philosophy and do not rely on public capital markets for exit, although we will utilize public markets when appropriate.

Our preferred investment is $3.0—$7.0 million in size.  We look for companies where an exit is possible within 3-4 years.  We are active investors and serve on the Boards of Directors of our portfolio companies.  We invest in private companies and in public companies through off-market negotiated transactions.

With $155 million under management, we combine capital resources with significant company building experience to create value for our portfolio companies.  We leverage our contacts to establish business and financial relationships and provide strategic direction.
