CAP specializes exclusively in the healthcare and life science fields. We focus on human healthcare opportunities, especially in drug discovery tools, devices, and services. We look for companies whose products and services provide better outcomes at lower cost. Information intensive business opportunities in healthcare are particularly relevant to us.
Our preferred investment is $2.0—$6.0 million in size. We look for companies where an exit is possible within 3-4 years. We are active investors and serve on the Boards of Directors of our portfolio companies. We invest in private companies and in public companies through off-market negotiated transactions.
